Absolutely gutted for you Paul Its always the way, you spend got knows how many hours and not to mention money on it only for someones impatience to ruin it in a split second.
I hope you get a decent payout anyway so you can at least buy another one as clean as this keep us updated with it mate

Insurance paid out £900 odd quid for my corsa to be repaired by Lemass on here, this can be repaired tbh.

Thanks everyone. This is why i love corsasport, it's such a good community with some proper genuine sound people. It's comments like this that make it all worth while, to have people appreciate the time and effort and stuff put into it to make the car your own.
The wheel survived ok as far as i can tell, doesn't seem to be majorly damaged, just some scuffs around the lip.
As for repairs and things, i really don't know what to do. Whether the insurance company will write it off or say it's repairable. And even then if it's worth repairing it or just getting a new shell and transferring all the bits. I have to get two quotes from two independent bodyshops to assess the damages/repair work anyway for the claim.

You shouldnt have to do anything mate, it should be a case of her insurance arranges for a company to come and pick the car up/ send a assessor out to view the car and then make a decision

Again, thanks everyone for the comments.
Dan's hatched a crazy plan. You lot are joining in and pushing me to do it . I might bring it to PVS after all, if it's ok with Ian/Chris F/you lot. I don't want it to be letting the stand down though that's all. Dans telling me i could put a write up and pictures of how it was before and running up to PVS then obviously do a write up of what happened like, and a plan for what's to come. It's tempting...and i have to admit, it would be a good send off for lil Oscar
