Thanks Whitter.

Small update.

Been getting a brake light fail message on my check control. Thought this was due to faulty brake light switch, replaced that as it was common and it was still happening. Me and Shrek decided to check it out and found something rather disturbing....

....Yup the contact has burnt/broken off, so the previous owner (read genius) has used, wait for it.... CHEWING GUM WRAPPER to make the connection

So needless to say a new cluster was needed. Gt one from a breakers and was delivered next day:

All fitted and working correctly now

Tis is some rust that needs sorting ASAP

My side repeaters are all cloudy and mouldy looking with a hue to them. So spoke to Jankes and he sent me some second hand ones

Old:

Crap pic as they qouldnt come out>

Easier to see Old Vs. New:

Fitted:

Its all the l;ittle things

Oh and these turned up today:

Desperate to fit the shocks but everything is taking a back seat at the mnoment as i need to find some way of opening my bonnet

So bonnet wouldn't open. Did some online research, found out what was needed to be done and Shrek did the rest. We managed to pop it open quite easily compared to what some people had done on the Internet. Anyway, it's booked into my local indie to have the bonnet cable replaced just before the MOT.

Here's a quick snap of the front end as you can see the lights. I know its filthy but the weathers crap

No, No, No do not give into the white fetish! save it for the Audi wag wannabe mums!

Paint correction and touch ups, sort the rust its not worth spanking a couple of grand on a respray.

I like the white Plus gives me many more options with wheels etc.

It needs so many bits repainting that a colour change is only slightly more outlay. Detailing won't cure rust!

Tbh first of all I have to find out how to fix my gearbox as I now cannot select reverse

Potential repair bills range from bugger all to stupid money.

Considering buying a better one and breaking it.
