*****UPDATE*****
Well not much has changed apart from having all the tracking setup for "Fast Road". I've really been making the most of driving this car.
Went to a local show today called Dubs at the park.
Was a good turn out and nice to see some really well done cars. Not a massive fan of the golf scene but the Mk1 + 2's really stood out today.
Heres quite a few photos...
Got only a couple of bits to do before mid June then we're off to Germany for another 'ring trip.

Cheers Gav!
You should get it done by someone who knows they're stuff or recommended settings from someone who does.
Mines been set up by a guy who used to do 944 track cars and has made it a completely different car to drive! Feels awesome

That polo is a bit mental. Didn't some come from the factory like that?

Yeah I'm sure they did, I don't know if thats one from factory or not as I'm not all too clued up on them but kind of thought it was cool in a weird way!
Cheers! It's by no means mint but it doesn't scrub up too bad for a 28y/o car.

Came back from the 'ring yesterday after 10 days and 7 laps over there with a bunch of mates.
The car performed brilliantly and the suspension and brakes have made it 100% better than last time!
Any way a couple of photos I've found so far...
Will post more photos and videos when I get on a PC

We only had the first weekend for track so that's only 2 days, we then had the practice and 24hr race on the rest of the week

GAZ Golds?
In all honesty, I was a little put off by the trouble of getting them sorted. They're pretty decent for everyday use but maybe a tad too hard at times. I was most impressed with them on track. a few clicks harder and they transformed the car on track. I'm not sure I'd get GAZ again but they are a decent coilover.
I'd be tempted to do KW v3's next time though...

Yeah it's the GAZ golds I'm thinking about.
Ah are they abit harsh of a ride? I just want something decent, the budgets for the z4 are expensive anyway so I'd rather just blow the extra while I'm at it.

They're not the hardest for sure and they do soften up a reasonable amount on full soft, my fronts appear to be quite a bit harder on full soft than the rears. That was my thoughts when buying these. From the reviews I've seen the KW's are the better all rounder, these are definitely more track orientated.
Still a good coilover and definitely 100% better than the cheap stuff I'm just a bit tainted with the issues I had at the start with these. The corsa GHA ones I rated highly

Been looking forward to these pics. Looks good. Were you timing your laps? If so did you manage much faster than last time due to the brakes and suspension?

I think kws don't look as good quality as GAZ so I'm still swaying towards them.
GAZ only make the gold ones for the z4 apparently.
