Aye, fair play to Durham, on paper I wouldn't say they were the best team but you can't argue with the table. Do think Yorkshire got a bit stiffed losing Root, Bairstow and Bresnan for most of the summer though and Notts definitely need to have a look at themselves.
Lancs are D2 champs today too

Definitely wouldn't have helped Dave. I think we're better than Durham man for man.
Surrey getting relegated it's hilarious

Anyone see the KP Twitter debate about the poms name? Think we should call the Aussies 'crims' or 'the crims'

The irony being that Pom is prisoner of her majesty, so should be used for them anyway

I see Clarke is playing the mind games, saying he knows the England team and order for the 1st test
FWIW i like the look of Clarke's team, Root will play much better when he isnt an opener, he never was one IMO. Carberry has impressed recently but im still a little unsure about him.

5am for me, I'd have to be on IV Red Bull for me to have any chance of making midnight.
I was trying to work out the other day how to shift my sleep so I'd wake up, watch the Ashes then go to work, I reckon if I came home and went straight to sleep at 5 that'd give me 7 hours, then I decided that was a bit mental and watching the highlights of an evening makes a bit more sense. Tbh I'm usually awake before 5 anyway so I can still watch a decent amount before work.

I usually make a point of at least watching the first over, but it's not going to happen this time round.
I'm up for work at 530 tomorrow so if i happen to wake up early i'll get up and watch some, then TMS it at work.
Been trying to figure out the sessions so I don't bother getting out of bed for Tea...
12-2, 2:40-4:40, 5-7? So getting up at 5 would be the best idea?

"Sullying the gentlemans game"! Short memory these convicts, I guess the underarm incident never happened then?
Closer than that there was a virtually identical incident where Clarke started to walk then realised the ump hadn't given him out, the bat pad catch in 2010/11 when someone (Hughes?) claimed a catch that clearly bounced. I thought we were the ones who whinged!

Haha, I know, we all know, they probably even know.
Tbf, I love how the media out there stir it all, it's entertaining, and at least they don't just slam their own players like the cunts of journalists we have do

Interesting how other countries protect their own teams though, our media would be blasting our own team at this point
