Was gutted when I asked the bikieshop man what pressures should I try with my new "tubeless" set up and he replied " with a kite like that son, check the max PSI on the side and start with that.."

Not really been able to try anything TBH. I was just told to take it for a potter around the blue to spread the sealent about and at 60 psi I wasn't about to go daft as it was "skittish" to say the least
I'd lost confidence completely with the handling/grip levels. So a few people have said the hans dampfs "go off" after a while, so this is last ditch attempt to get the heap of shit to go round a corner.
If not I'm going back to drink and tinterweb porn, fuck it.

rotational weight is one of the easiest ways to save weight on a bike so he should see some difference

I want a go first lol. I've put a maxxis 2.3 high roller 2 super tacky on the front and a 2.25 maxxis ardent I think on the back. So I'll have to do a wee bit of fecking about with pressures etc like. But I hope it'll get it back to how it used to feel.

Random bit we found up at mabie forest today, more like a water channel at the top. Good fun though.

had a good tour round bike park lakes today with 26.5 miles of riding and a blue southern trail 4253ft of climbs. a lovely boulder spat up from my front wheel while riding down a river bed of boulders and cracked me right on the shin. fair swelling up and there was a good bit of blood and skin lost. good day out though. got a 3rd place on a descent as well which aint bad as I'm just an xc rider on an xc bike.

Pretty good week and weekend. Nice night ride with me old man Wednesday. Felt like shite and rode like shite. But then went out Saturday did 20 miles and took in some of Chicksands Bike Park. Rode excellently.
And then today, I've managed to put the first of 2 edits together. The next will be uploaded in 35 minutes according to YouTube.

Looks sweet that. I got the ZTR Crest rims. Bit XC and super light. Cased a double at Chicsksand proper hard yesterday, still straight and true!

Forgot to mention earlier that on the bike park lakes ride today seen the air ambulance flying over head then about 10 minutes later we began a descent to see it landed on a field. At the bottom of the descent there was a paramedics car and an ambulance. Allegedly a fellow mtb person came off badly where we had just ridden down and landed heavy on their back on the rocks. Can't find anything in local news about it, but not the best of things to see. They were under a blanket struggling to move when I seen them.

In the south people get up from stuff like that, dust themselves off and get on with it

Even worse when it is someone you know. Happened at Woburn except a mate shattered his leg. Feel so helpless as there is nothing you can do until the ambulance arrives.
