Hi Nic, replaced the Master cylinder and bled the brakes!! took the GSI for MOT....
....It past, advisory brakes good but long peddle travel ,drove it home and went straight
to see a friend at scrap yard!! took corsa one off with bottle and servo. went on the hunt to match
with summat else!! after about 20 different cars we came across one
Corsa is a 2.0 think this is piston diameter, the one we found is 2.24386 in other word's "its bigger"
took it home, set about alterations, new pipes to bulk head, bled up...... Perfect!!
bonnet's touching the bottle so need some lifter.

very odd problem youve been having with them brakes geoff. was telling my mate about it before. not something ive come across on a corsa, not like you describe anyway. spongey pedal is common. worth noting that about primera one though for my mates project vehicle as we will be making that into some form of abusive slag for cheap.

gave my mate a lift up to collect a car
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPStg3lFH3A&feature=plcp
really useful is sat nav in scotland. apparantly we were drifting.
not bad for the price it was.
power sounder sticker must mean something good.
swapped the v grill for a honeycomb one i had from years ago
w reg 1.6 sport. non sunroof model which will be useful for roll cage purposes. needs a new wing and a minor bit of rust sorted out.
my mate hasnt really made any massive plans for it yet other than a 20xe and gutting it of useless interior. see what happens......

some daytime pics of the slicks new weapon of a car. red, typically, has faded a bit. will try polish it back up and see if it improves. should do really.
important non sunroof model photo
came with wind deflectors.
quite lowish really. all 4 tyres on the sport wheels are bang on. front 2 are uniroyals, rear 2 are avons.

The 1.6 will never be capable enough though without a lot of money thrown at it really. Better to remove it and sell it on.

Video of my bog standard tigra 1.6 with full interior almost keeping up with a stripped out Corsa XE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KswYogKpLAY&feature=plcp
I reckon corsa 1.6 on a heavy diet wouldn't be far off!

I've got a video somewhere of my gsi when it was a stripped out 1.6 vs my old xe corsa and it wasn't even remotely keeping up with the xe.
