really going to have to get saving and get the bootlid sorted out soon. wether its just a replacement same colour or if i can afford a fibreglass one possibly.

ride height settled in. will be getting 195/50/15 yoko ad08's either next week or the week after which may look a little less daft as the rubber band 45's. saying that, them yoko s drives have been brilliant. one of the best regular road tyres ive ever had on the corsa.

not sure wether to get black front grills or not.....?

perhaps needs some paint polishing/clay bar type things done by a professional. lots of swirls and little marks in it.

Definitely get some black front grill's, makes them look far less "blingy" imo

trip to the scrap yard for a new crank pulley for my mates 1.6 sport that he bought a few weeks ago.

diet mods began by removing the heavy clock and replacing it with a bit of carbon fibre, genuine not a bit of wrap.

removed the rear end plastics and seats. front is staying as it is for now.

removed wiper from the boot need a grommet for there.

fired the beast on the rollers

engine is in good health. soon to be removed and is for sale if anyone is after a 1600 16v.

someone had a fire near where i parked my car.

this is the gear knob in my car. it used to have the proper 6 speed insert, but as we were measuring up for the cage with it kinda pushed together the screen bar dropped and managed to smash only the insert ffs.

had a mk5 astra in work that needed the whole gear stick replaced due to wear in its actions so this was going in the bin. lift up reverse which wouldnt have worked so cut it off.

it would actually sit higher, which i think would suit me more, but sadly the fitting to the stick itself is different size. will investigate further see if i can make it work on the weekend.

definitely need a gearknob roughly that size and weight though compared to the corsa one as i just dont like it tbh.

looking at a fibreglass one and some lexan windows but its just the expense of it all. 1.6 is decent, pretty quick as well I was surprised. Hopefully get it removed this weekend and my mate hopeully also acquire a 20xe doner car. Still don't think it will be done for next weekends local racing though

had a go with the panoramic thing on the phone. seems ok although its quite tricky to keep it steady as you move. gave it a wash as well shockingly so may go get some proper photos later by the sea if i get time.
