Been a while since I've used the car let alone update the progress. Here's a pic from a last weekend when it moved off my drive. However, next weekend it's going in for new software. Watch this space

Update:
Well me and Sean-B made the trip up to sunny Oldham on Saturday to meet up with a certain Beardy. He installed the Vmaxx Evo5 chips (taken from his FedUp van!!!!) had a quick set up with the fuel and we took it out for a blast with the wideband on. All good. Came back to wind some boost up but I forgot that as my amal valve was playing up, it was removed when I last had it set up. So my actuator will hold no more and no less than it's set 13psi as the vac is currently linked straight to the turbo. Obviously this means he had no way of adjusting the boost. So now I'm going to have to invest in a new amal valve to get the boost wound up, adjust fuel to match and then try and get a power run to see whats what.
Bit of a pain in the arse but everything that could be done on the day was done. Just wanna say a big thanks to Beardy. Top top bloke and gave me some sound advice and was patient with me too. Cheers mate

He means the chips are "mapped" to over-boost to begin with and then hold boost a bit lower. So technically it won't run right all the time I think.

Oh right OK. So why couldn't I plug in a new amal valve, wind boost up, set fuel etc.? How would that bring problems?

Nic is saying a MBC would cause issues not the Amal valve.

it wont cause issues. im just saying the chip come with an overboost on them. with the mbc this wont work as the ecu cannot control them. or perform boost cuts if it needs etc. i prefer things to work, not be bypassed.

Got new Amal valve all plugged in and vacs on. Turned car on and it ran for 10 seconds fine then began spluttering and idling real low and wouldnt rev. No idea whats up but maybe the FPR has give up the ghost as there's a smell of fuel.
