Yeah the Astra ones from Courtenay are annoying me now and I'm sure as they are so 22G ones it's actually having a negative effect on the Mintex 1144 pads as they aren't getting hot enough to work effectively on the track.

They look good though and cost me £265

You have heard the ones on the saxo

Only time they were quite was when coming in off of track. Only because they were full of melted greenstuff pad

I did wonder this actually. All very well keeping this cool but it still needs heat to work effectively.

And yeah I grooved discs look awesome, but at the end of the day it's about how well it brakes Just gonna run DS2500s on standard discs for a while and see how that goes

Standard disc + ds's were epic on the CTR

No noises, as good as standard cold, wepon once up to temp and never faded dispite smoking like crazy after coming in at brands after a 15min max attack session

If you are getting track based pads like teh 1144's or the DS2500 I would deffo recommend just using new standard discs, vented just don't seem to work properly with them.
