Do it, Give Chris a bum and he will be happy.

I wouldn't mind betting that some people pay more attention to it since its damaged and It would be cool for you to do a little write up and put on it that it was crashed into 2weeks before PVS.

Sorry to hear about this mate, i suppose its best to say onwards and upwards. I'd still take it to pvs and buy a few of these with a sticker saying "ouch"

I'd just get it back off the insurance and strip and reshell into another corsa, Maybe even tweaking a few little peices as you go!

Well i think it's sorted then. Oscar will be getting a good send off at PVS. Just got two quotes from garages, both saying it won't even get to the repairing stage with insurance. The vauxhall garage said it was a shame cos it's such a nice motor. They said i'd probably be better off re-shelling then repairing. But tbh, i'm torn. I'm really lost as to what to do tbh.

I'd be very very suprised if they did repair it Paul. As soon as I mentioned that I had a bent panel they dropped mine like a hot potato before they'd even seen it

and mine was pretty minor!

Massive respect for taking still going ahead with pvs though mate

One things for sure, it will get lots of attention at its last show!

Yeah, i know the insurance won't even consider repairing it, it's just a case of whether it's worth letting my dad repair it or get it done myself sorta thing or like i say, searching for a nice clean rio verde and re-shelling it. Either way it's gonna take some time.

love that idea Danny, would be legendary. Was tempted to get one of those CS facepalm stickers on it tbh. And i hope it does come back even better too, if i get a decent payout and get sorted what i'm doing shell/repair wise i'm gonna pour my heart and soul into it to get it exactly how i want it.

If the insurance Write it off and give you a pay out on it, would the payout cover getting it repaired if you bought it back off the insurance?

I'd even come over to pay tribute to it at PVS!

Tip for ya, Dont accept the first offer the insurance give you, Try for a better pay out.

I doubt its worth repairing though, Would have to rebuild all that arch plus more, depends how bad its gone.

Reshelling may be more financially viable too.

I doubt the payout would be enough to repair it, tbh, i'm only expecting £500 payout cos at the end of the day they'll only see it as an N reg corsa

That's what i'm thinking Alex, would probably be the easiest option to reshell it. Just the fact of trying to find another tidy rio verde more door with everything i'd like.

I'm loving all these positive comments of giving it a good send off at PVS. It makes me proud. Thanks everyone!

It deffo Won't be easy finding another mint one in the same colour, But keep looking and dont loose faith, Not sure how important your car is to you, but dont rush.

They might see it as more than a £500 corsa due to how clean it is/mods etc, But like I say, don't accept the first offer!

Yeah, that's what i'm hoping Jamie. Plus me being a bricky labourer i've lost out on pay. We'll see what the claims people sort me out with. And i'll definitely be declining the first offer
