Yeah, where did Carlton Cole come into all this?
Weird. If West Ham get a decent little nippy striker to partner Cole I think they'll be all right. Heard of interest in Maynard, think he'd do all right after a season or so to settle into the premiership, was joint top scorer in the championship and missed a couple of months through injury.
Also as a Crewe fan, it's nice to see Ex-crewe players make it to the prem.

There were a few rumours doing the rounds about him during last season, fuck knows why though?
Ah, is Cavey hoping to get Ashley Cole back? Be nice to see him back in an Arsenal shirt.
EDIT: I type 'Arsenal shit' in error!

*Does not compute!*.
Far better players out there than Carlton Cole, pretty poor if that's what Arsenal have their hopes pinned on?
Its not as such the spending or not winning, its the fact that the club makes shit loads out of the fans and refuses to put anything back into the team.
I just want some decent additions to the squad which we've been crying out for for the last 3-4 years.
And a bit more ambition in the transfer market.
Its not even about winning trophies its about value for money.
I'd rather Wycombe had a bit of money off me each year because no doubt the'y would appreciate it alot more.
And as I said I wouldn't "support" Wigan but it is cheap, accessible Prem footy.

You would have to be the size of Lostboy if you could fit that on your back?
It sounds like the sound the chimes on the chinky chippy door make when I go for my Peking crispy duck.

Where do Barcelona get their money from? Are they not in debt?

Apparently not;
Trading income: 384.8 million euros
Operating costs: 362.4 million euros
Ebitda (Earnings before tax and depreciations): +84.9 million euros
Operating profit or loss: +22.4 million euros
Income / financial expenses: -13.6 million euros
Net profit or loss: +8.8 million euros
Cash flow: +71.3 million euros
BUDGET 2009/10 SEASON
Trading income: 405 million euros
Operating costs: 375 million euros
Operating profit or loss: +30 million euros
Financial and extraordinary profit or loss: -10 million euros
Before tax net profit or loss: +20 million euros
I bet their stadium tour takes a mint (Seriously) 30Euros each and there's always a massive queue to get in. Probably making about 25k+ a day from it. (I've been twice and both times it's been mentally busy)
Their tickets are cheap and they never see to sell players on for profits, so I wonder how they do actually make money

By having a stadium that seats 100k mainly and fan ownership helps them spend 'wisely'. They only made one major signing last summer which was quite obviously not a wise bit of business but apart from that they bring loads of players through by having an amazing academy. They are the dream club 'model' imo, lucky fuckers!

"Valencia's David Silva Agrees Terms On Manchester City Switch - Report"
Silva - "Yeah, 500 grand a week please". City - "Ok done deal"

You'd of thought he'd want to go to a big club like United or Chelsea TBH. I guess City will offer a stupid wage to tempt him.
