Yes Dan! Rolling shots look boss. Was good of those people behind us to hang back while we got them nice people indeed. We gonna get this gearbox done then so we can both make it to trax?

rolling shots are epic, haha had quite a que behind us though.
gearbox time today .. as the bloke who sold me the box is being quite a dick and im £300 down im going to be stripping it all out today and swapping the casing from this onto my old f28 .. ball ache

im beggining to realise this

Cal, going ok so far gearbox out and both stripped. swapping everything over now.
i did notice when i drained the oil from the box that wont select 2nd a lot of swarf and a chunk of metal that looks a part of a circlip
. and with the box split found that the small bearing that runs on a slider on the gear selection rod was loose with no circlip attatched to hold it on tight.

so far ive built the box up but need to replace the driveshaft oil seal so going to call it a day today and finish off next weekend

Yeah I've had parts off him before with no issue so thought I could trust him with this, wish I hadn't now he'd said it was a good box with no crunches etc. Apparently had driven the car it was in 150miles ... I fitted it and had nothing but issues no second gear and crunches into 3rd. When I told him this he was adamant there was
Nothing wrong with it and then ignored all my following messages/attempts to get in contact about a refund or part of my
Money back.

Thought fuck it I'll try make a good one out of the 2 as I'm getting no where with that bell end.

Cal, yeah had a good day on it today shame I've not got a spare oil seal otherwise I'd have had it back on the road tonight lol

All sorted now, gearbox has been back in a week and all seems well

ordered a few parts:
Verniers
Rocker cover
Cambelt cover
EDS chips
EDS enlarged top hat

only have a pic of the verniers and belt cover though

Me too Nic me too .. I love the fact they are made of cheese

after countless times stripping things out the bay it was looking a mess with everything scratched and dirty, decided because i would be attending trax that i should paint a few things up and give the bay a clean







It maybe a bit marmite but i fecking love it
Its a red/gold flip rocker, belt & battery cover
xe inlet & verniers also fitted
