Ah right, its not my mates one then, his is shit anyway, you wouldn't have bought it if you went to see it its a proper donkey

They used to be based on Waterloo road, I just had a search for is number but can't seem to find anything, I don't know if there still going or not but he was always well recommended on RMS etc.

The only other engineering places I know off to hand is grahamengineering as I already mentioned, there based in Lurgan 028 3834 4766, and Byre engineering who are based at Nuttscorner, 028 9082 5207. My Dad got a head skimmed by Byre last year and there work was perfect

Ah right, give Byre a ring then there only about 30 - 40 mins away from Lisburn if you don't mind the drive

I have a GSi bumper I might be selling, but its not in good condition at all. I'll let you know if I'm selling it if your interested. Other than that no, they seem to be very hard to get hold of over here

Well I'm a lazy cunt , its going to be a bit of a handful getting it in too I imagine with no engine crane so I'd rather have a couple of people here for any emergencies so weekender is best

Best thing to do is get the engine high enough on some skate boards or something so u can still get jack under it, but use jack to lift the shell high (I normally go on the rear mount), slide it in the right place and slowly go down/up, Without scratching paint that is.

Me and Chris got mine in without scratching paint, And then I scratched it changing the alt

Not much happened this weekend, was raining all day Saturday and had a lie in on Sunday

Started playing catch me if you can with the rain and managed to fit the timing belt kit and water pump.

Didn't take any during pics as was racing the rain so didn't have time , I did take one of the pump though, looks a bit bad does it not?

Got the engine under the car after that

Then the rain caught us and had to leave it

I know was a n00bs error, was my first time painting something properly so I'm still pleased with it if I had of used high build primer it'd be next to perfect. Learn from your mistakes etc

And thanks, your even more of a slacker, when you getting another Corsa like you talked about

All being well it'll be in and running by the weekend if the weather holds out, but it doesn't look like its going too and I can't afford PVS now so its a defo nono

you can only see the marks if you look close I think it looks really good mate, especially for a first time
I'm not getting another corsa for a fair while until I can either find a good one cheap or win the lottery even if I won the lottery I would still buy a corsa

Thats alright then I'm not going PVS either haha!

Went and got my bits today of that silver Corsa, took a while as the fella who owned it kept ringing and saying he wanted it back, one remark he made was 'thats a racing car you know you can't scrap it' anyway he never turned up so I went down and my dad had them off for me

I was only charged £5s for this lot , the bumper needs a bit of work but for the price I'm not complaining.

Lovely jubbly
