Changed my auxiliary belts and fitted my GKTech upgraded fan today. Tried to fit my GKTech water temp sender spacer but the top hose I'd bought didn't fit. So I'm after one now standard or silicone

Solved the squeaking belts on startup so all good!

Finally got round to fitting the gearbox exhaust hanger.

Fitted up my new indicators to the bumper and put the finishing touches to the fitting of the new bumper.

Then drove it over to my mates unit which is conveniently two doors down from the body shop I'm using. Stripped the car down ready.

Was a bit nasty under the rear window seal! This will all be sorted.

Can't wait for the real progress to start.

He's going for a slightly different shade on the fenders "again". Just to make sure people realise there overfenders you know.

Got my car back from paint a couple of weeks ago.

As mentioned earlier my car took ages to get resprayed but now it's done it's definitely been worth the wait. Gave the car a going over with my new snowfoam setup then washed it down and patted it dry! and finally put my Veilsides back on. The veilsides have been treated to a coating of Gtechniq C5 wheel sealant which from what I've seen is amazing stuff so should keep them looking perfect for up to a year!

Bonnet pins are currently being painted satin black instead of the horrible fake carbon effect. Really happy with it, shame it pretty much needs to be tucked up for winter now! :smash:

Got some likes on Instagram. Always nice to have likes.

Got some more pics today too

I think it would look nice with a lip spoiler on the back..

The smoothed boot top looks a bit wrong to me compared with the front.

Maybe something like this
