I think it is going to be interesting to see how Fergie manages his striker situation next season, Obviously Rooney & Chicharito are the main strike partnership & now we know Berbatov & Owen are staying, but Fergie has already said Welbeck will b at United competing for a place & Macheda's agent has recently said he will be staying at United

I don't think we will see Macheda back next season, either loaned out again or sold.
Not sure where these games for Owen are going to come from, he must be taking the League Cup seriously next season. Welbeck and Owen for the domestic cup games?
Rooney usually has his off season where he struggles to come to light, thats where Berbatov steps in

Does anyone really think Berbatov is going to be happy sat warming the bench (if he even makes it) for the majority of the big games?
Can't see him wanting to stay if he is only going to be used against Swansea and in shit cup games.

I'm not saying he will be bench warming, but I get the feeling that he wouldn't want to take the step back down to a team like Spurs or Arsenal.

Apparently Barcelona are in talks with Villareal about signing Rossi for £25m, another amazing player we let go for a pittance much like we did with Pique, If i remember rightly i am pretty sue we had a £7m option on Rossi when we sold him? would much rather we sold Owen / Bebatov and bought Rossi back than see him go to Barca.

As was talked about on here a few seasons back, Rossi couldn't get in to our first team after a load of hype. La Liga is a lot differant to the PL. I'd like to see how he faired now.
As Fergie said, Owen can come on and get a goal.
Pique I wish we had kept, especially with Rio's unpredictable back.

This was reported last week, and the price Villareal said was €40m
