Is this the same sort of ''inside info'' we get from MJF88 in sports day?

Toyota have released to some employees about the future plans for the GT86, which are currently being tested. Its the way a lot of cars will go over the next 10 years IMO

Driving a sports hybrid is awesome.
Massive torque for up to 15 minutes, then the battery runs dry and the car slows down as the petrol engine drags along the weight of a huge battery and an extra engine not in use.
The future!

60kg for a big battery and motor is impressive though!

Subaru STi page has some BRZ STi teasers on it today. Hearing two rumours, one being a turbocharged engine with around 300bhp and the other being only handling and aesthetics upgrades.
Still haven't driven one of these but done plenty of youtubing, they look shit slow so hopefully there's a turbo version coming.
Might tempt me into a newer car again

Subaru won't say when it'll be or what the difference is though.
From what they've actually said, it could just be a badge

That's why it's called a teaser!
I think people would pay 10k more for a BRZ if it was more powerful, they look amazing IMO.

Why would they ever give it more power?

Despite the petrol head elites claiming 200bhp is enough, I like to get down a slip road quicker than the local school run people carrier.

Really is a shame as it looks epic! Just all show and no go though. Just another car to add to the list of stuff beaten by XE Corsas

There's a queer American kid on Youtube with a channel dedicated to his BRZEEEE and he did a video when he passed 1000miles and hence "break in" period, did a redline pull on tinterstate and it just looked slow as hell.
I still want a go in one.

I'd like to own one. I just hope they have a massive engine failure problem so they end up cheap enough to warrant an engine conversion

Can't you finance it in someone else's name?

Surely to be knocked back for car finance they must really think you won't pay it.
