Misinformed ignorant people like robbo are exactly the types that will seek to get this hobby banned
Tell me, how many people have been hurt from Quadcopters in the last 12 months?

I found some guy on youtube that made his own custom landing feet for the F450, so i messaged him asking if he could repeat the task, he was very willing, i think he owns his own 3d printer or something.
Anyway I paid up and he sent me them, and a whole load of other stuff too, including a custom base mount for the go pro which fitted in to "the frame" holder meaning I could bolt it straight to the drone now rather than relying on double sided sticky foam which was a bit prone to vibration anyway.
I also replaced the metal thumb screw with a nylon bolt to save more weight.
These new legs only weigh 30gr which is about a third of the weight of the landing skids I had on there before, they are surprisingly stable to when on the ground, also gives zero intrusion into the cameras field of view at any angle. They literally just push and clip on, im impressed, if anyone fancies a set im sure it will be fine to give you his email address. With this new kit my drone only weighs something like 1150gr fully loaded!

BTW pretty shitty idea having your vTX sat on your ESC, both will be getting HOT and the ESC kicks out buckets of EMI..

How would you remotely put the receiver into bind mode lol? (requires placing a jumper across two pins)

Finally settled on a location for my FPV tx, although it seemed ok for signal etc I wasnt totally happy with it being on the ESC due to heat and possible interference as davey pointed out, as I have now changed my landing gear it made way for it to be mounted in here, notice my new lost message
hangs like so
I have just tested this with my furthest out flight yet, of 1.7km, and it seemed fine at all rotations so I think it can stay here.
I will post the vid of my record so far flight tomorow

You mean in case anyone finds it and reports me?
I think it just adds a slight extra chance of getting it back if it gets lost

Shouldn't state the reward figure either. I'd chance it on ebay for more than £50

I suspect most people wouldnt return it, but it stands more of a chance of being returned than without anything on there at all
Infact one of the guys lost his phantom on the forum and had his number on there, and it got returned!
