Cheers Robin, got so many videos and photos I'm going through now
We timed laps this year but didn't last year. It's so much faster than last years setup though, the cornering speed was much higher! Still not confident enough through the fast bits of the track so not really pushing it there. My biggest issue seems to be traffic and trying to get out the way of the faster stuff. I got 11.36 BTG with traffic, 2 crashes and road works which I was pretty happy with. Confident that I can get it in the 10's and hopefully 9's on a good and clear run.
I thought that too Gav, they also only do golds for a 944.
Cheers Dan, you rang me as we were walking round the museum It's nice to get it on track! Hopefully will be booking a track day for August.

*****UPDATE*****
So I thought I should probably update this...
I fitted a turbo rear valance just before Germany once it was painted, theres a couple of photos from Germany and also I got a 996 GT3 Cup Car steering wheel fitted in there.
I've been busy working on the trip video which will be up soon
...and also might have got the engine stripped down for it's rebuild...
Anyway enough of the boring stuff, here's a few photos!

Is the Turbo transplant a possible winter project?

This is very true! I'm imagining a hairy first test drive. I'll whack up some photos when it starts to get a bit more interesting, I know taking engines apart doesn't appeal to everyone

So a few photos to update this:
The engine has continued being stripped and put on the stand:
That will be being stripped fully this week so next month it can be rebuilt.
I've had a knock coming from the front since I got back from Germany, it looked to be top mounts so replaced it with these that appear to get good reviews on the Porka forums:
New front tyres should be coming wednesday so I'll get them on and get the geometry checked/adjusted accordingly. Hopefully it's not thrown it out too much!
I hope it to then be ready for Combe where it'll be out on track
