Few other places the PS4 is significantly better than the Xbox One.

Harddisk space:
Both consoles ship with a 500 GB disk installed. As we know, this isn't the actual capacity. So after after OS etc. how much is actually left?
PS4 - 408 GB empty storage
XBone - 362 GB empty storage
So a full 46 GB less storage on the console that doesn't allow hard drive upgrades, without voiding warranty.

Game install time:
Both consoles require installation of disc based games before first launch. Also, they both offer the option to start playing the game while it's partly installed. But how partly?
These are the times from start of install to launch of game on a few cross platform titles, as found here.
(Note, this is with both consoles connected via a 9-11 Mbps WiFi. Xbox will not launch games without first updating, PS4 updates in the background after launch)
Assassin's Creed IV:
Xbox One (with update): 7 minutes 2 seconds
PS4: 42 seconds

Need For Speed Rivals:
XBO: 09:25 (including update)
PS4: 00:32

Just Dance 2014:
XBO: 08:48 (including update)
PS4: 00:45

NBA Live 14:
XBO: 16:26 (including update)
PS4: 00:35

FIFA 14:
XBO: 16.06 (including update)
PS4: 00:34

Madden 25:
XBO: 9:38 (including update)
PS4: 00:38

It is a standard off-the-shelf 2.5" SATA (mostly Samsung drive apparently) drive in the Xbox One which can easily be replaced/upgraded; just have to void warranty though

Tbf, both consoles have been shipped with puny drives; should have been 1TB off the bat. But i agree that Microsoft have shot themselves in the foot massively with not having a removable drive.

1TB and latest WiFi standards.

Also, I'd have loved a PS4 controller without a built in flashlight. Damn that thing is bright in a dim room!

Yeah, but I have the camera and want to be able to use Playroom and any other future stuff without taking the controller apart.

For games that don't use motion tracking it needs to be turned down a notch.

Also at your profile pic with the fish!
Is that a Facebook pic or did you manage that in some other way?

Loving the option to show real names!

Anybody toyed around with the companion App for phones/tablets?

Just gave it a go and it's actually quite good.
After a quick (and I mean very quick) setup you can use the phone as a controller/remote and keyboard. Brilliant for text input.
