Havent been on the bike since i fell off and did my elbow in, bike took abit of damage so got a new ultegra cassette and rear derailer and obvsss a new chain to match
Can anyone recommend a decent front light? I had a Moon X Power 700 which was bright as fuq but wasnt very durable. Don't want anything that has a power pack or anything.

Road bike I presume?
Yeah it was on my road bike. Hopefully I'll get out on it again this weekend as the weather is great at the moment.

this is currently my favourite choice of hybrids to purchase. ticks pretty much all boxes and the price isnt bad either.

rick whats your opinion of the charge damper upgrade for boxxers ive got 2012 boxer teams at the moment and the hs/ls rebound has seized so im basically running zero rebound. I cant be arsed to send it off for servicing as it will probably need parts and the cost of a full service It wont be much less for the uprgrade which I could do my self is it worth it.

Charger damper is nice, very nice. If I was you I would upgrade it.
The thing with the damper in the fork you have is if a part fails in it like in your case the rebound damper, its a sealed unit so you have to throw it in the bin and start again. Its still similar with a charger for parts but at least you can strip it down, measure the O-rings and replace them.

ah right I just had alook for the parts to repair and just the rebound is 55 for the adjuster and something like 130 for the other bits plus stripping it down etc I can get the charger damper for 180 and swap it myself seems like a no brainer

you don't need carbon wheels, just decent light weight alu ones, can get fulcrum racing zeros for good money now.

The last 26" one he had at the start of last season. He has given it my mate, Dave the Dog Fingerer in the Maxxis video. He has been having headset problems so he swung it in as his bro Matt was meant to be riding it this weekend in Llangollen as Dave has bust his leg.
