He's also said he had no plans of going elsewhere The usual shit. Embarrassing. But United have dodged a bullet there; a 29 year old overrated CB for the money being touted was outrageous.

Pedro seems a certainty to leave, it's just a case of who he's going to that's to be decided. He's a damn fine player, and will be a great addition, but the lack of interest in signing any CB other than Ramos looks quite worrying for United.

There are plenty of class left footed CB's out there. I'm not sure about LVG tbh. He has a good record, but he's spent a fortune with key positions still to be filled.

The WC goalkeeper thing was seen as a stroke of genius, but some of his positional choices were questionable last season. Romero may have been a free transfer, but there will be a good reason for that

Couldn't be more emphatic that his best position is on the left, not in behind the striker. He's not a playmaker like Mata, he's a direct running winger.

Mata needs to play behind Rooney with Depay and (please God) pedro on the wings. Not sure why Mata is always pushed out to the right!
