That's only the matrix and blower.... add all the switches, wiring and relays your close to 5kg well worth it, you should do it

I'd be near 10kg with that and the wiring I've cut out. Maybe another 10-15kg when I chop the doors, probably another 20kg or more in the glass. Interesting.

hoping to get my nova to <800kg shouldn't be that hard considering it weighs 980kg as standard and I already have poly carbs no interior half a dash no heaters and I'm cutting out all the seat mounting fibreglass wings and doors and eventually boot and bonnet to

Nova really that heavy? I swear my gsi corsa is less than that as its non sun roof no electric model. Fibreglass wings sound good idea yep. Your nova thread makes me want another one tbh.

Sr's gte and I think gsi's are 930kg the luxe is 980 cheers can't wait for it to all start coming together! Next challenge is to sort the massacre in the engine bay!! You should get another Novas are

Don't mean to be rude but them sticky pads are shocking. Make sure you get the mating surface nice and clean otherwise you'll end up with nothing holding the loom on!

They can be screwed in if needs be but yeah I've used them before and had mixed issues as you say clean surface be right.
