Proper good, 50 minutes of scene setting, then 1 hour of violence

American Hustle - Probably 7/10, was good but not 10/10 good.

Into Darkness is worse than the first.

Star Trek into Darkness 6.5/10

I enjoyed it more than the first but it's got the same problems as the first one. They don't really explain things properly. Maybe they expect everyone to be Star Trek fans and to know what happened when they encountered the Klingons or how Khan came to be. They just kind of skim over both.

Desolation of Smaug.

Downloaded this, and now need to see it at the cinema.

I can see what people are saying with regards it not following the book to scripts but it is based on all of Tolkien's works which I believe added a lot more detail to things, so maybe he added that towards the film?

Either way, the creation of Sauron was just amazing, gave me goosebumps and even the dvdscr on my TV Smaug looked brilliant.

8/10 for now, but I fully expect it to be 9 or 10 when I watch it on the big screen.

Kinda hoping there will be a 24 hour binge when the third hobbitnis released of all 3 hobbit films and the lotr films.

Last Vegas - 8/10 quite enjoyed, nothing to dislike

Captain Philips - 6/10 i know its a true story but i couldnt help but shout at the TV, it of killed the first badger down below then gone all rambo on the other 3..

Lone Survivor - 7/10 again another true story but like fuck you would risk the lives of 4 men by letting the kids go ffs.. you would of tied them to a tree and then fucked off. if they get eaten by wolves tough, fucking taliban anyway so who cares.

what else have i watched...

oh yea..

Last Days On Mars - 5/10 pretty weak film, was alright but not great.

I gave it an extra 2 for being a true story. Hard to work out at times if its shit or trying to be funny.
