It's just poped into my head but if the fuel pressure is low or the injectors are not spraying right, you'd get the same problem?
Hope that helps and your back on the road soon.

theres good news, and bad news.
good news is its making well into the 200's! and im picking it up this evening
bad news is jamsports rr computer died during the set up just before the power runs so its not fully fully mapped. the cam timing needs to be fiddled with and it needs to be finished on the mapping side, but jamie isnt 100% happy with it as he sed the fuel pressure is spot on one min, then not the next, but he wants me to pick it up as it is and try it to see if the ECU messes up again and see how i get on with it then take it back and he'll finish the map and some power runs while i wait
atm is running 185bhp at 6500rpm at the wheels!!
i think i'll let the operator at the rolling road tomorrow take it to 7000rpm as its not really mapped higher than that

its good news but there is still that shadow of doubt about the ecu. im not convinced that its a good one n that the problem might come back
we will see tho.
will get pics and videos from the rr tomorrow n i just hopwe it doesnt brake!

jamie reckons that when the computers fixed, he can fiddel with the cam timing and map it all the way till it stops making power n it'll get another 20-30bhp
its now home safely

jenvey DTH throttle bodies 40mm trumpets
blue injectors
std coscast head fully rebuilt with bronze valve guides
dta management
QED 42H cams
sbd type-c manifold
2.5" powerflow exhaust system
std xe bottom end lightened and balanced
lightened and balanced std flywheel
arp rod bolts
arp main bearing stud kit
single v billet alloy bottom pulley
so the spec isnt really that high tbh. i could take it alot further with new pistons, over bore, high lift cams etc etc
