well, nothing much doing on my car at the minute. tomorrow it will get washed and some other crap stuff done. decided to go round to a mates as he was about to relocate some gauges in his prelude turbo.
dash panel out and gauges mounted behind it
cant hardly see them. stealth style
this bit of white plastic was getting in the way. i couldnt find a screwdriver so broke it off.
which now left more space for gauges and wiring and stuff
dash panel back in
boost gauge illuminated
boost gauge and lambda gauge illuminated. job done. looks quite cool. better and easier to look at location when driving anyway than above the radio. plus added stealth of looks like nothing until ignition is on.
awesome indeed. on the hunt for some evo 4 injectors for the prelude next. then its getting some p28 ecu thing and some other stuff to make it mapable.
might do some really non exciting stuff to the corsa tomorrow.

todays hard work on the corsa involved tidying up some wiring in the car. exciting as hell
removed the abs ecu as its no longer needed what with the car having no abs now.
removed this as i had broken the plastic cover off and it annoyed me and worried me slightly incase a needle flew off and hit me in the face
re-fitted with a normal front that has the plastic cover on. nice indeed.
also, wanting to know if anyone knows what this is?
light in top left, the orange one? its right next to rev counter so was thinking could fit a shift light in there be ultra smart and tricked out to the max. i know there is no bulb in that place, top left, but i didnt know what it was so thought id ask
thanks.

I think that light is for if you are towing a trailor so it lights up when you plug it in or something

i see. sounds utterly useless.
annoying thing ive just discovered. ive lost the little led thing i was going to use as a shift light. bugger. typically ive just pulled the wire out the loom for the shiftlight output aswell. arse i tell you. arse.
might go threaten it with a spongey and some soap. crap car i tell you.

Oh no I had to confirm with my hand book there, the trailer towing light actually has a tow bar shaped light.
That light is actually for automatic tranny corsa when "sport mode" is pressed if it flashes there is a fault, you better make sure you acidentially didn't fit an auto box incase you need that light.

Just read more...all it does is make it shift gear at higher RPMs and it says if the button is presses at cold operating temps it heats the cat up faster resulting in "optimum pollutant reduction" there is also a "driving aid" button, so in slippery conditions it will drive off in 3rd gear.
Amazing stuff
