Received it cheers Paul.

Going to have a look at it later on tonight, although im not going to follow it properly as I intend lose the weight first before 'bringing it'

I eat pretty health now so the diet aint a problem, are the protein shakes essential as im using this program to lose weight initially!

The protein wont make you put on weight if you're doing the training, the first 30day phase is designed to shed the fat, and the next 2 to tone/bulk you up depending on how you wish to go.

Anyone recommend some good protein shakes then?

My diet consists of:

breakfast
fruit and fibre cereal
whole milk

snack
low fat yog
banana

lunch
tin of tuna in brine

tea
french casserole
couscous

this changes most days for tea but always healthy.

Does this seem ok for a daily intake bear in mind im 6ft and 193 lbs

why not skimmed milk with your cerial?

Watch what you drink as well, drinks that contain sugar are a big issue!

But I'd imagine eating that and doing the p90x you will lose weight and get into better shape.

Ah right ok, just drink water now. Would a protein shake be better pre or post workout?

Hows everyone finding the workouts?

I heard that it's 'better' if you have the powder with water, takes longer to digest or something when taken with milk. Not 100% though.

Be warned though - taste isn't the nicest.

The Body Fortress one Paul. Ive got the shaker thing too, much quicker and easier than the whisk plus gets it all mixed in fully.

Yeah I have heard it takes longer tbh. I have the morning one in milk, I have the after workout one in water (as Im normally that gasping that I can down it in a few mouthfuls and not notice the taste!)

what shaker thing? hit me up a link.

I have 2 scoops in morning, 2 at night... tastes nice even with water imo...

I'm concerned about what the myprotein stuff will taste like
