Little update

stripped the bonnet and sunroof back to bare metal and then put a coat of etch and a coat of wet on wet primer to stop any corrosion.
sunroof is perfect and the bonnet has one tiny dent from a stone chip so very happy

Had a few hours this afternoon so took the engine out





ill get the running gear off in the week then hopefully get the underside painted over the bank holiday weekend, thats if i dont have any plans lol

Yes I'll do the clutch. New fuel lines. Hydraulics cables etc.
Took about four hours.
Gonna take it to my father in laws to use the two post ramp to put it back in as will be a nightmare on the floor.

Got my bits back from the acid dip


seeing as they are 20 years old they are pretty much mint, very pleased

just got to rinse them all down with degreaser and let them dry for a while before rubbing them down and getting them in primer
