Not yet. I landed a plane there, not knowing it was a military base. The tanks don't mess around 
Its nowhere near as easy as the previous games. Much harder to go on rampages against the army without them killing you within seconds.

whats going on here then, second time its done this and it seems to be if iv been playing it and I save it then turn the console off and come back its dumped me back pretty much to the point before I started playing. I even slept before I turned it off to ensure it saved

Happened to me just after i chased that guy in an artic, but j think it was because i quit before it said mission complete.

After the jewellery mission and first trevor missions. if you go the black guy and go to the lester missions and listen to what your about to do you can take advantage and place all your money on the shares that will rise after the mission. I made 1,000,000 by doing so. the shares to buy during the mission before it is complete are the cigarette company and the pharmaceutical company. depending on which mission you are doing for Lester.

The last mission I did was the torture one where I had to snipe someone. Have I missed this money making chance?
I should really pay more attention to the cut scenes, I often skip them

Stole the Carrara copy from the shrink and had a drive up the coast with it, went up the cable car, and fell off the cliff at the top had to drive a beetle offroader all the way back, took forever!

I managed to steal a fighter jet and stash that in my hangar for future missions or just general hooning.
I then attempted to steal an AC-130 but got shot just as I started the engines FFS.
Tried again with max armour from Ammu-nation but got shelled by a tank before I even got in the plane
I will manage it today....
