It's a bit odd, AVB seemed really excited a few months ago, then in his last PC he was a bit fed up RE the matter.

It's no big deal, obviously people behind the scenes have been tracking him, aand he's being signed for the future, I guess. He's our third young Belgium youngster in the last year, with Lukaku and Thibaut Courtois. I like the look of De Brunye, looks talented.

I could see Best being prolific in the SPL but apparently he turned them down and ideally I'd like to see him stay

If Gary Hooper can be prolific then best easily could be. Not surprised he turned it down though. Be a big step down, better joining a championship club on loan
