So you would prefer Germany and Italy over Spain and Portugal?

Italy in the quarters would be "do-able", perhaps. Then its the semis and all about holding your nerve, so anything could happen, although I'd doubt we could do Germany.
Spain in the Quarters would leave us a very, very slim chance of further progress.
I'd rather get to the semis and have a chance at the final against germany than more than likely go out against Spain. Even if we did beat them Portugal would be harder than Italy.

Most certainly. Being honest, Germany haven't been as good as I expected. I know they won all of their qualifiers and won all three games But they've just not been... As cutting edge as they were in the World Cup. The wins haven't been emphatic. But naturally that counts for fuckall as they are still winning, but once the Spaniards gather momentum they will be extremely hard to get the ball from, never mind beat! Portugal looked awesome going forward last night. Ronaldo hitting form will be massive for them.

I'd rather England played Germany as even though it'll be hard but if we somehow beat them it would be truely amazing and one of those 'best' moments.

Spain missing a striker big time, still.
Ireland being so pish only served to give a false representation of Torres, who is also still pish.
