Why the shit wheels? You appear to have taken a nice looking motor and made it look like a refugee.

Mine serve a purpose at this time of year though

Caught the rear wheel on a high curb last week whilst on jury Service. Had to park in a multistorey. Now if they were nice and shiny, I'd be passed. I simply got home and smeared black paint on it. Looks fine now from 10 yards away

I'd powdercoat them rather than paint, harder wearing.

If it wasn't for all of the photos you had posted I would have told myself its the angle that makes it look like that weld has penetrated about as deep as a fat bloke with a 1" penis.

So did a bit more today, progress is slow as waiting on parts... And time

Have a lot of the stuff ready for the LET to go in - it will be started in the next few months i hope

So as we know my shot welder mate finished my bumper so i tried it on

Looks good imo

But what doesnt look good is that stupid plate recess

Would look fine if the recess went to the rear lights and didnt have the protruding bolt holes

So i bought this, actually from a genuine works gte rally car

Then cut these out

The next bit took all of my balls

Tacked the bits in and removed the boot lock and protruding bits

Mate is going to do some shit welding on em friday
Before then i am going to:
De lock doors and fit popper system
Make custom handles
Clean inside from sound deadenning and make and plates to weld in
Remove front and rear screens

Then it will still need grill
Bonnet and boot pins
Front plate plynth removed and front splitter making
Custom fuel covers

Then and only then can i start the back axle conversion AND fit the air ride i have purchased....

Will need new wheels for this though

Cool stuff, like the rear bumper being flush to the bodywork.

Not sure about your wall art though mate, looks shit. Did Steven hawking do it?
