Nice part of the world but then you trade in poorer salaries and weather, plus it's a little backwards in parts like gravy on chips and not being able to pronounce bread roll properly

i don't think his earnings are that much more than mine if at all.
I'd be very surprise if that was the case. ONS suggests there's a 10-15k average difference on salaries between the north-west and surrounding areas of London (more that 20-25k if comparing central); granted disposable income seems to only have a 5-10k average difference between similar areas.

It obviously isnt overpriced as the bank has to value it before they even give you a mortgage

probably 80k too expensive.
Who gives a flying fuck? It's not yours it's his. I don't want to live in Cumbria, I want to live near London. I don't go around putting other people down because I do.
seems not a lot of house for the money. Don't get angry, it has nothing to do with you.

I have that about 2 miles away. And a view of the mountains, which are 25 minutes away. The Lake District is the best part of the U.K. You can keep the south, it's shit, and full of Wankers.

We were discussing salaries at work and the other plants around the uk get the same wages as us, despite general living costs being massively lower. Bit harsh really, though I suppose Liverpool and Bridgend are hardly lovely places to live

Basically the same thing as a migrant camp, but the people have cars and a job to go to each day

Statistics say otherwise Nic.
But don't worry, i am a little bitter about you being in the north - i lose more to take a piss at work than it does for you to take an entire day off unpaid; sucks to have such good salaries down here

Yeah, agreed there. I understand why they've put the door on the side to maximise space inside, but it looks strange. Garden is on the side of the house, rather than the rear.

Prefer the garden there as it's south facing
Everything south related is more desirable tbh

When was the photo taken? My garden is south facing and I get the sun from about 6am-7pm. Yours looks in the shade fully.
