Hit & run 7/10.
A rom com with a fairly basic script but dax shepards 650hp lincoln and and various other decent driving scenes made up for it. Quite a good watch.

Bad Neighbours 10/10

Genuinely not laughed so much at a film for a long time. Was worried that the advert would have shown all the funny scenes but it was genuinely wet yourself hilarious

Generation Iron - 9.5/10

Loved it, better than Pumping Iron just for the fact it didn't have much Lou Ferrigno in it
Even the mrs kind of enjoyed it

The Book Of Eli 9/10. One of my fav films. Must've watched it 30 times since its release and still find it as amazing as the first. Why it never won any major awards is beyond me. An absolutely fantastic piece of art.

I've seen three of the worst films I've ever seen this week:

Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus 1/10 - so bad and no redeeming factors; the single most awkward sex scene of all time and terrible effects. It only get s a1 for the sheer absurdity of a Shark eating a 747 at altitude.

Frozen 1/10 Terrible film, reminded me of Open Water with the three main cast getting 'left' behind, stuck on a chairlift in a ski resort. Terrible acting, terrible 'true story' premise and no action at all.

Snow Beast - This film takes the award for being the worst film of all time but is so bad that it actually deserves to be watched; its a serious film but in being so bad its hysterically funny. 0/10 for the film but 10/10 for the worst film 'monster' of all time!!

Blade Runner -

I recently watched The Final Cut which Ridley Scott now calls his definitive version. Although essentially the same as the DC it adds a voice over at the end which the DC removed. I watched the original Theatrical Cut this morning and I have decided that for me this is the definitive version. Harrison Ford's voice over (although considered to be confusing and by his own admission poorly delivered) makes the the film feel like a 1930's period detective film where the protagonists thoughts are heard throughout the film. Nothing from the DC - The added dream sequence suggesting Deckard is a replicant or the Final Cut actually add anything over the original TC, other than TFC being highly polished and remastered. If the TC were to have been left alone and restored correctly the film would have been almost perfect.

Extended Work Print - Not watched
Theatrical Cut - 9/10
International Cut - Yet to watch
Directors Cut - 8/10
The Final Cut - 8.5/10

Godzilla - 9/10, Awesome, only reason not for a 10 is the human story bit was a bit weak other than that the effects are amazing and Godzillas roar!

Godzilla - 6/10 - Decent action scenes but Godzilla looked like he needed to go on a diet and I really couldn't get away with Kick Ass playing the Gung-Ho soldier type with his high pitched girly voice. Maybe I'm being overly critical as I've been looking forward to seeing it for a while but couldn't help feeling disappointed when I left the cinema.

Have we established whether 21 jump street is worthy of being called a 'film' yet?

First 30mins i thought were good and then it just got really poor

they explain exactly where all the creatures comes from, Ken Watanabe's character explains it, pre-historic when radiation levels where very high hence their need to feed on it to grow....

Pain and gain.

8/10.
Very funny. Good characters and a really good storyline. Just a few bits that let it down really
