Pain & Gain - 7/10

I was expecting some stupid, cheesy buddy movie. In actual fact it was a really good crime film with an interesting plot.

Only God forgives ??/10

Still not decided. I think it was 5/10, but some scenes where beautiful, think it was possibly the soundtrack and pace of the film which lead to it's low score. Something missing

I watched a few on the plane

Lone Survivor - 9/10 - like saving private ryan, black hawk down and behind enemy lines in one film

Jack Ryan - 8/10 - good watch

Gravity - 10/10 - considering only 2 people really in the film I was gripped for 80 mins

Godzilla - 7.5/10

A good watch, just for the spectacle of the fights alone, but there wasn't enough actual Godzilla and the human element of the story fell flat for me.

22 Jump Street - Actually really enjoyed it, thought it was better than the first one. The tripping scene had my missus snorting with laughter

Elysium - 7/10

It was good, but it could have been better. You could tell it was made by the same director as District 9 as visually it could have been the same film. Nice to see Jodie Foster play a different type of character for a change but overall it was nothing that hasn't been done before.

Friday Night Lights - 7.5/10
Liked it but think I would have enjoyed it more if I'd watched before I watched the series which I loved

Robocop (2104) - 6.5/10

Could of made more of the satirical element of the film (like the original), but otherwise a watchable film.

Man on Wire - 9/10

Great documentary, crazy frenchman!

Edge of Tomorrow 7.5/10

Saw the trailer a few weeks ago, didnt think I'd like it given it was a Cruise film and I not really a fan of Blunt, however I really enjoyed the film.... also has some moments which worked well!

Blunt is surprising hot in this

Never laughed so much at a main character dying before.

The noises he made every time were priceless. His attempt at escaping PT was the best.

Personally I thought it was better than the first. Glad that they didn't show all the best bits in the trailers too.

The Wolverine - 7/10

An improvement on Origins and at least they have tried to tie this one in to the main X-Men storyline, and it reminded me of the Wolverine comics after Magneto ripped out his adamentium and he went to Japan. Just a shame they changed the reason for Logan having lost his adamentium, if the previous X-Men films had shown Magneto extract it like he did in the comics it would have worked so much better. Nice cameos at the end, although I'm sure Xavier got a different body at the end of TLS, so not sure how he got his own body back.
