what car did you get the engine out of mate? thinking of going down similar route with mine mate

As far as I know its a fly-by wire. But he is using TB's

small update

310mm 4 pots didnt fit, so swapping for 280mm 4 pots

throttle bodies removed and sold,

something missing

air filters are for people who care, less restriction = more power

wait until you take an engine apart that hasnt had filters on! Realisticly filters that are properly matched to the engine wont reduce power.

the real reason is i dont have an in take pipe to fit it!

and yes, been busy with over cars, not enough hours in the day


the 1.8 will have a filter

you still getting that 1.8 going mate? or staying with the 1.6 for abit??

who makes the 1.8 engine mounts, etc...im interested in still keeping my B but different engine

bolts on standard mounts/box

only thing needed is a 1.6 sump and mod the pick up pipe, then use a 1.6 manifold with abit of modifing
