This crucial maintenance (even though the underseal is intact and the beam is just dirty) Will be carried out as soon as the engine conversion is finished!

Update

Got the X16XE out of the corsa yesterday at last!

Firstly stripped all the ancillaries off it



Then Taylor came round and scratched his head a bit



RISE UP YOU CUMBERSOME BEAST!



And finally out



Engine was picked up 6 hours later by Tom B. Boss.

Cleaned the daily driver as well






Prepared the bay for paint today so will get a load of tetraseal on tomorrow night.

Update

Fitted my oil temp and pressure senders





Cleaning up all the brackets etc as well, Stripped and cleaned my brake callipers as well today.


DRS: I won't be painting over it anyway, but thanks for the info

Update

Tonight Taylor and myself plumbed all the water and vacuum pipes in, bolted the inlet manifold in place, fitted the clutch and fitted the gearbox







And where it will be sitting until Saturday. Surprisingly my mom's only comments where: that silver thing on the end looks nice. Opposed to get that thing out of my house you filthy boy.
