Wheels look great but pretty sure there bolted up the wrong way round -

Currently you have all the weight of the car sat on those little bolts?

Update 9/6/12

So I haven't updated this in a while, partly because I have nothing to update and secondly because of a rather nasty break up which spread in to a lot of agro, a lot of money issues, house issues etc etc and the car just sort of got forgotten along the way.

It gave me the Eleaner treatment after months without care, had a few issues, main one being the altenator going so had that replaced, along with a full service and a decent valet (Even though the wheels need a decent polish still).

Also got pulled by the police just after I started using it again which resulted in a £30 fine for my exhaust and removal of front tints which I'm not too bothered about.

How it currently stands,

Service time as usual..

Painted the centre console gloss black after I scratched it, crappy camera makes it look dull when it is very glossy, but I'm happy with it.

Then today fitted an OPC grill, painted the Opel badge black to dull it down a little, was going to smooth over the OPC logo but had second thoughts.

Currently scrounging every penny from my wallet to refresh the interior so may have more updates soon, or maybe not

Cheers

That is beautiful, only tiny thing I don't like is the bit chrome trim on the new grill, that painted black or blue then its perfect!

Just noticed the digital climate control. Never ever seen that in a Mk4. Is it an aftermarket conversion or just a rare as fook optional extra.

Cheers for the comments guys

I know what you mean about the chrome, I'm still unsure on it and think it needs to be dulled down more, maybe introduce some gloss black against the Matt black.

Yea it was an optional extra, never realised it was rare when I bought the car, but it is standard fit and from what I've heard it's a pig of a job to add to the car if you don't have it.

Purchased some new interior goodies including a full set of leather door cards which I was supposed to have by today but haven't got them yet, so instead I spent the day sorting out little niggles and bits and bobs.

Firstly de-badged the GSi badge, think I'm also going to replace the Vauxhall badge with an Opel one, but that then leaves me with Vauxhall badged mudflaps and a Vauxhall badged airbag which I'm not too sure what to do about.

My old man bought some black heatwrap for his bike but never used any, so had a little play with some of it, my boost pipes aren't in the best of condition and obviously heat wrap wouldn't serve any real purpose on them so I've just used it for looks really just to see what it would come out like.

As with everything I'm not too sure of it at the moment, may change my mind once I've given the bay a clean up.

Tomorrows work will be de-stickering the entire car, and finding an already mapped ECU to fit my requirements as it seem's an easier option than travelling all the way up to Courtenay or Regal.
