Met the famous painter of f1 today- had a signed Schumacher painting some 4metres wide - was selling for £100k euro

Really nice guy and gave a good insight to Schumacher - some things I would t have thought

He had done a Kimi design helmet for him but won't be passed by scuderia - kimi expected here Thursday

Will post pics of the painting when I am home

Definitely. It doesn't help that Lewis keeps having car trouble. It's getting silly now.

Hamilton being a little bitch again. Oh, he's not leading the race. Coincidence?

No

Slow burner but a good race in the end. I was so keen for Ricciardo to catch up to Rosberg!

Brilliant weekend for Nico, very convincing and completely outperformed Hamilton. We can get hung up on Lewis's hydraulic issues and lack of running time but you don't out-qualify someone by 7 tenths just like that.

Certainly makes for an interesting last few races.

You do if your car isn't set up correctly.

Was watching this about an hour behind live. Purposely avoided social media and phone browsing but overheard a news broadcast on the radio which ruined the result. Couldn't get excited watching Ricciardo catch Rosberg knowing full well he wouldn't get past. Can't beat watching it live.

At least with upcoming Malaysia and Japan, you can get up early in the morning and watch it before getting on with the day.

I'm actually fucking mental after yesterday

My real-time reaction matched Lewis's perfectly, head in hands "oh no no no"

I just had to laugh and wonder wtf was going on.

Mercedes' reliability this season (only in Lewis' car) has been shocking.

Happy for Danny Ric, though the multiple shoeys was rather grim

Didn't even watch the podium. Was watching about 12hours later than broadcast so TV went off as soon as Rosberg crossed the line unexploded

great race - just shows how having the mercs either in the pack or out of the race actually improves the excitement of the event

teams really need to close the gap to merc

although I do not like him - I felt for LEewis - was way ahead and drove excellently - needs more medi a

a training though - I think that was the first impression from him that he thinks the title is slipping away

What an awkward drivers press conference with Lewis

His team and sponsors surely couldn't be happy with acting like a cock

Although they must get fed up of it that goes with the territory of 30M plus a year

Such a difference between how alonso and Lewis handles the press and when the chips are against him

Thursday presser format is dated and needs to change.

The media have interviewed these guys at length on Sunday yet not 4 days later they are repeating it all over again. No much wonder stuff like this happens.

Ah Japan, love this GP.

Sat on my beanbag this morning huddled in front of the fireplace cursing myself for letting another year lapse without fixing the boiler

Great laps from Rosberg, but Lewis did well to pop up out of nowhere and get close... he needs to knuckle down now and have a tidy race.

On the media stuff, Lewis' behaviour was a bit weird but there are far worse ways to act I suppose. Agree with Ellis that the format is so stupid.

I wanna see less PR training/control and more seagull type stuff tbh.
