Thanks.
The heat wrap will reduce engine bay temperatures, also looks better IMO. Performance enhancing, no news ATM.
The Lexmaul is fitted to a 1.6 (x16xe).
The strut brace and inlet manifold are almost 8th hand items
The exhaust manifold is brand new, purchased through LMF, but you won't find anything bar second hand now. Lexmaul have ceased trading.

Well, the update i was going to proivde never came Gonna be a little longer for that update, me thinks.
However I have set in motion other plans eeeeee post-xmas should see them come about
Update for now - potentially able to get my hands on these...
In need of TLC but nothing major that a shot blasting and powdercoating wouldnt cure.
Maybe anthracite....
Unsure though, they are quite wide. 7J 4x100 205/xx/R16

Last update of the year: No update
Decided to pass on the above BBS, they sold to someone locally, unsure who.
I do have other plans a foot in the new year.
Id list them, but that'd spoil it
But still got one Lexmaul manifold to fit fml, itll see the outside of the bedroom one day soon, its nearly a year old
Anyways, might have some pictures to add pre/post-MK meet. We shall see.
See y'all in the new year

Its one of them evenings - you know, where the gf is working, youve had a very prodiuctive day and its time to relax without a nag or care
So i plugged my phone in, and because im lazy, there were plenty of thread related pics on there. So might as well pop them in a wee write up
Here goes - some of this will relate to way back around June and before

Just need to locate the hazard switch....as ive mislaid it
Managed to locate it eventually. Fitted.
This was pissing me off, its no longer used and just lets filth in the bay all day long, in a dirt to actual function ratio, i decided to sack it off. Out came the CF off cuts
Dark pic.
Decided to spunk out on this over the summer, heres my test report -
Apparantly this was the best stuff to clean with before (even better for setting on fire ) -
Masked up, cleaned down with the alcohol -
After application -
50:50 -
Before -
After -
Looked a bit scethy on the front of the arch, but couldnt understand why?
Skirts, spot on -
Grille -
Job done -
Overall, application was easy and simple, was sticky till dried, restored darkness too. Now to see how it lasted over time.
The right testing weather certainly arrived!
Random pic -
Not bad -
Later still -
Wasnt too bad, overall, impressed. However its not taken to the arches (all four corners) very well over time. Unsure why this is, i thought it would be the texture, but it took to the skirts amazingly, same with front and rear bumper. So not a clue
Price - circa £30 iirc - deffo expensive, however could get 2 corsas / 3 with less trim out of that tub easily.
IMO if you own a brand new car, with smooth, flat plastics, then it would be great! Not so for worn corsa plastic textured arches.
Anyway, moving on, also at some point ive had the Lexmaul manifold welded up to irradicate the need for the SAI -
Was going to use this that i made -
However, decided to go balls out -
Should do the job
Also deiced to get a bit more flocking done - again by Alan (Prey)
Fed up of the chrome handles, they no longer suit my car inside, so will be going at some point during the near future.
Just felt this would finish off my boot -
Pointless? Maybe so But ah well -
And so, having a free weekend at last, decided to give the car a good clean. Washed, clayed, polished with SRP, washed, then waxed
Also decided to give the coilovers a check over, and wash the amazing coilover socks
Been about a year since they were off iirc
Underneath wasnt too bad at all, look like theyre still working, so I washed them and coated them in some waterproofing coat stuff...
Swapped back to a standard sport front ARB from the Combo one i was running, so fitted my new polyrace front arb bushes also -
Shiny shiny
Should be good for the shit weather that is no doubt ahead.
Thanks for looking
Marcy Marc
