Cheers Dan i feel like leaving the sticker on just for posterity

Thanks Shaun, it's all down to my dad tbh, without his experience it would never have been attempted let alone turn out like it has

As for the skirts, they're the old zender ones, picked them up for a steal. Still not sure which i prefer, but gonna be trying both these and my steiny's with the plans i have though just to see

Cheers dudes

Think it will end up there tbh Bonney. Put all the interior back in today and a few things seem a bit out of whack, took it for a drive round the block too and it scrubs a fair bit just doesn't seem the same. So i think, i'll still run this round for now and keep my eyes peeled for a mint shell and end up doing a re-shell and engine conversion.

Also, anyone know the legalities and such, obviously it's been written off and declared a cat c, apparently my insurance is still running and it's still taxed, but can i drive it around? or would i end up getting hassle off the old bill?

I think the MOT may be void until a VIC check is done on the car, Where a new one gets issued. As for the tax I still think this is ok.

The insurance policy is still running and should be with the vehicle, You may need to check with your insurer on that.

Thats all off the top of my head, From what I was told a while back, Best to check with a reputable garage or your own nsurance company.

Yea your MOT will be void, will need VIC checked as Bonney said. Your insurance will be void too unless you inform them its a Cat c write off, would there way off worming out of it if you crashed.

Although if they wrote it off its probably already sorted but I'd be checking just incase.

Yeah, thought as much, already in the process of booking a VIC check, just didn't know whether i'd get hassle from the police if i were to drive it and stuff

I thought you had to MOT a car before VIC.

Car you have had before and after a crash never feels the same.

The suspension components were fine, just the inner wing panel needed to be bent back out a bit, nothing major with the porta-power.

Cheers dude Yup, audio buttons will be wired up to work, they'll be replaced with ones that have had either white or green LED's put into them, not decided which yet though

I'm not sure on that Alex, don't know exactly what i have to do tbh.
Still keeping my eyes out for a clean shell too, this repair will be just to get me back mobile again until i do find a replacement
