Japfest 2015!

What a show. Was an awesome day with awesome weather.

The SXOC stand was the best I've been to yet. Location was a lot better and the quality of cars was amazing on there.

Only got a few snaps of mine as my mate is the camera whiz so awaiting his much better photos.

More pics following Japfest!

Update

Bought new brakes

Decided to treat it to the brand new one piece caliper K Sport 8 pots with EBC yellow stuff pads. Always loved my current ones and it was time for them to be replaced!

Replaced all the front copper brake lines whilst I was at it. Thanks to L16JAY for his help with it today!

Only gone out for quick drive and they need bedding in but pedal feels great and its really balanced with the rear brakes.

having the wing that high will actually decrease its performance and just add drag, if that's something you are bothered about, drop it about 12" and it would work (and look) much better. Also them end plates... are there not some others you can put on, or even make your own..?

Erm...I made it all myself to look like that. I get it's not to everyone's taste! I love the aero work you've done on yours. Not sure that having the wing up in cleaner air would reduce its performance though?

i meant performance as a whole rather than its effectiveness, its when you take into account the extra drag which is created by having it so high, lowering it will give you 99% performance but with less drag.

the airflow over your car goes over the roof and then sucks down over your rear glass but eventually seperates off before it gets to your boot.

MX5 diagram here but its the same principle.

Chris I don't think in any way what so ever the wing has been fitted for any other reason than to be ScEnE.

Maybe so, but if he drops it, it wont just look better but will actually work better too.

Thanks for that Chris I genuinely understand that a little better now. I'll probably not lower it though as it is mainly for looks. Not so much to be 'scene' as I just do things that I like to the car not for others.

I thought it looked fucking shit a first. But that sat in traffic from behind pic looks awesome to be fair. Suits the car because the whole thing is massively OTT. Would look shit on a more normal 200.

Yea I've always wanted a wing but I've waited until the rest of the car is at a stage to pull it off. Then added a splitter to balance it out

There's not another obvious car to go against it really. Turbo ,RWD,coupe, LSD as standard, Independent suspension, very easily tunable and looks awesome.
