No. He was banned for one game for a seperate incident.

Then when we announced we were not appealing the 8 game ban started immediately.

The way you worded it I thought you meant is he banned for 9 games from yesterday.

made himself look so out of touch with reality it was untrue :/ made his position as a top clubs manager untenable in some respects imo, to be so stubbornly out of touch with a nations sentiments and to continue to lambast anyone and eevryone who doesnt agree with his views in suaro

may as well have sat there in a KKK hood and given the interview tbh

It's getting embarrassing now. Liverpool are doing themselves no favours.

We could have handled the situation better from the start, and I say that only in view of our decision not to appeal. I don't understand what else we should be doing now though.

You (as in Liverpool FC) could do what you (as in Tom) have just done and come out and say what you just said.

'We ballsed this up from the start, we don't condone racism' slap a small fine on Suarez, everyone will laugh at Liverpool for a week about them back tracking then it will go away.

If Kenny keeps acting like he is, the ridicule will continue forever.

I think that's pretty appt in this situation I don't see us backing down any further, we don't believe the process was fair or just, we've made that clear from day one. Just because we have chosen not to appeal (in the belief that we won't get anywhere, and to not detract too much from the campaigns work) doesn't mean we should be coming out and doing anything. I don't understand why everyone is looking for their pound of flesh from the club, everyone keeps talking about moving on, Suarez has made a general apology to anyone he might have offended. The only reason I think the club ballsed up at the start was by not getting their story straight like United did, but that's my personal view. Everyone should move on, or continue to keep slinging the sh*te which doesn't really do anyone any good.
