All the welding materials are free going to cost me about £30 to get it through mot plus no mot charge just about 10 hours of welding be silly to buy another car

£40 is an all ok one.
A trade one is £25 and customers £30 or £35

Had the nova dropped back to me today, cage looks amazing!! going to get cracking and want the engine bay all stitch welded, strengthened and the underside stone chipped before January then it's going to my garages to completely strip it down of the steering rack/column, rear axle, doors, wings and pretty much anything else that unbolts get all the bits ready for powedercoating will update as and when I make progress as usual.

Cheers kev, I do enjoy welding my plans for tomorrow are entirely up to the weather.. It's shit at the moment if its raining ill be stonechipping the underside, if its dry ill shotblast the engine bay and tackle the welding then make a start on underside.. Can imagine it to be shot weather though

as the weather was shit today i decided to start on protecting the underside, got the main bits done up on the ramp ill leave it as it is for now and do the rest when its in my garage on axle stands so i can take the rear axle and suspension off

I am really looking forward to it being in the garage the main reason is I can get everything powdercoated nothing better than a freshly powdercoated part I am cheating a little bit, painting the underside with rattle cans

Not all of it, all lose parts were wire wheeled off and around all the seems, then re seem sealed and stonechipped

Cheers Craig, hurry up with the turbo! I know jed was meant to stay behind work yesterday and today but we are chocka and I couldn't get the nova in I will be tackling the engine bay this weekend! Need to get it over and done with
