yeah shame but the end of what i was doing really. wasn't worth throwing thousands more at it just to make it even more useless as a car to drive.

van is perfect for what i do these days. sadly though i have holidays to save up for so i don't think i will get much stuff done to the van for a while. trying to find original rear seats up north, or that someone from down south will post is proving to be difficult. once i get them i can do all the lining and floor properly.

plus it needs different wheels. i have some rs6, well i think they are rs6 5 spoke 18s for it.

Got some rear seats for the van to replace the ones in it. Got some matching from original equipment ones which I need to drill the mounts and get the correct bolts for. Hopefully start sorting the inside of the van out now with Lino flooring etc.

Humber bridge

A66 on way home. Pics of seat when I put it into te garage later. Decent condition but the base needs a coat of black paint. They are quick release, and folding back with an arm rest.

Back seats! They're not in bad condition at all for the price I paid. Will order the bolts and brackets on Monday then commence stripping the inside ready to fit some insulation before putting the wood and carpet back on.

It doesn't. Ever. It's not a rape van, it's a daily driver/mountain bike transport vehicle.

But importantly they match the front seats, and are factory kombi spec original so that's good enough for me.

it has back seats in it already they are just some crappy fake leather things that are a bit old and worn looking. having all the seats matching will just look better i think.

I'm undecided on that yet. i actually like it looking like a van, but its decent to have the side windows really. makes it a lot less like a van.

I paid £100 for them yesterday. Allegedly 2 of the holes are already marked on the floor just need drilling and the other 2 you measure. Seems easy enough. Need to mount a seat belt for one of the seats. Bolts and plates are all still allegedly available from vw.
