table looks like something you would have dead bodies on for sure, hence why they have all those grooves and a drain.

someone should take a hammer to the pipe and see if there is anything down there.

Theres an old castle with a few caves beneath which sit on the coast. Time team were there a couple of years ago and then they blocked them off.
Used to go down the dungeon all the time and there was one cave that required you to crawl through a hole to get inside which was a dome shaped room.

Cant think of any old asylums being around.

pmsl at the st marys place in stannington, hearing screams etc.

Ive been in, its just an old building thats been abandoned. Its guarded because of what it was, not because its still being used. If theres a chance they can reuse the building for something they dont want people going in & trashing it.

Fun day out though

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winterton_Hospital

Some fucked up shit happened in there.

I know

Edit, taken from the wiki page: During demolition contractors working on the site broke through into previously forgotten basement tunnels and rooms and discovered various preserved specimens taken from inmates.

fetuses/parts of brains/innards, all in jars.

Edit again: http://www.urbexforums.co.uk/showthread.php/2390-The-remains-of-Winterton-Asylum-Jan-09-ARCHIVED
