yeh, sorry just noticed that
still same with clet, always see all these differnt chips, evo chips or something?
are they just phase maps, like you get with the zlet?
to save me reading back, what management are you using? and are you running nitrous?

yeah evo chips are just different type of things like phase chips that you can get. i ran mine on a phase 4 chipped ecu for a while. madea big bhp number but was shocking to drive really.
i run emerald k3 and no, no gas.

never liked the idea of a genic map...
custom maps will get the most,
was it not nice to drive then?
i need nitrous for mine, for 1/4 drags, hoping to get sub 14

it was ok on phase 4 really. but now with it being on mappable i can sit at 30mph in 6th and pull away. on th e p4 ecu it just didnt like it at all. wsnt the best low down. was good mid range then was a bit poo higher up.
id never ever go back to phase chips. if i was considering that type of thing again, id buy a mapable ecu instead. as you say, get the most from the engine.

had a few things go wrong on the corsa today. disaster has struck and it will only get worse.
first up, one of the connections onto the horn must be lose that its fallen off. this is no good trying to navigate rush hour traffic when people cut you up. cant beep at them. needs fixed asap.
secondly
the bolt that holds the bracket together for the catch tank seems to have vanished. bugger. i will have a spare in the garage but still, annoying.

Have you re-traced your last journey with a metal detector to find the bolt yet?
I would get an astra mk4 horn in there, I just felt embarassed tooting the corsa horn.

hmm, this horn you speak of, are they more pleasant sounding than a camp beep? i know a man with a scrap yard i can acquire one off more than likely. thanks for the tip sand-eel.

mk4 astra horns are surprisingly meaty sounding indeed, they are 2 tone so a nice deep roar.

what now jon? what now? i have a small update to make. oil catch tank bracket is 100% sorted. ive tested it today to work and back and its still there. im happy.
in other news.
roughly 40 litres a corsa tank is. im under 10 litres on the gauge. ive done 115 miles pretty much. so 115miles to 30 litres. awesome.
