i find it a shame and i hope ian reads this but in the ( almost a year ) i've been on this forum the impression i get is its not a nice friendly car forum about modding corsas and going to shows like i hoped. instead its a place for every angry keyboard warrior to get off on one as they find there new prey. i havent gone to any corsa sport meets just for the fact that half of you are jack ass's and have put me off. i think you need to rethink what impression your putting onto new users. cause i for one am not impressed!

Im not saying your doing a bad job Ian its more some of the long term and prem members that seem to have the attitude problems.

I'm not saying all what has gone on with regards to user trading/disputes, but taking it as far as personal attacks is ridiculous. It should have been kept in disputes, that is what the section is there for.

Lets put this in to context, if Jay get any shit, it's because he took other peoples money and spent it on himself. Whether that is living costs or the supercharged Corsa project which for me doesn't indicate actual hardship isn't really the issue - the money was obtained illicitly.
Then we have the issue of whether going to court stresses you out - I would hope it does and I would question again whether sympathy is necessary if that is where you are going.
Regarding how friendly the site is - get yourselves some facts here. The guy who came on and said he's passed his test got a page of congratulation.
The guy who build a supercharged car with other peoples' money, less so.

that is true Ian. i and i do get good comments from people and im hoping its cause im a friendly person anyway but i think this thread is out of hand now and just putting a bad impression on the site.
If you had just joined and read this first it wouldn't just be jay people would be making first impressions on and some people in here seem just as much a bellend as jay. i just think it would be better to keep this sort of thing in disputes.
