Few jobs done today, primary one being a service and swapping out a few bits and bobs.
All done
Ensured the kit is all fully fixed on and my jacking covers are secured then went for a drive

Used it again last weekend, really want to change the coilovers on the front as they are well past their best but still can't convince myself a pair of £450 Gaz can be justified Decisions to be made
In the short term I want to drill my spare air box to give it a bit of induction noise

Oddly enough you can't see it in person, the pictures in the sun just seem to highlight it. Doesn't bother me tbh
Been looking around at coilovers, looks like AP or KW could be an option, i'll be renewing the bushes in the arms at the same time I think

When doing the bushes make sure you have a nice strong vice handy, I replaced the ones in my GSI to polys and they were an absolute nightmare to get in lol. Mate go for gaz's, I wouldn't use any others TBH, they're expensive but the quality is absoloutly spot on. Not fitted the front gaz's on mine yet will wait till after the paint.

What did you pay for your Gaz ones mate? I reckon I would limit myself to £500, only need the fronts as well as the back are already Gaz ultra lows.

Speak to Rich (Pickford) for the GAZ coilovers, he still gets discount there, I've used him quite a lot now for various friends and he always sorts me out decent prices.
The car looks lovely

My friend is looking for a new car went to view one yesterday, decided to give the GSi a run out, did over 100 miles and performed great following the service last month and felt better after a decent drive considering it hasn't really moved more than a couple of miles for 6 months, can't fault it

It's one of the nicest GSIs in existence IMO. Yeah you did mate, i replied regarding those bushes. My GSI goes in for paint Tuesday, is been collected at 10 o'clock and il get it back in around 4-6 weeks the guy said. Still need to strip one or two more bits off and it should be sorted. I also managed to buy a genuine corsa b bonnet brand new on eBay, cost nearly 200 notes like but mine has a few bits of rust around the lip and I want it to be perfect

Glad to hear yours is going for paint, have no doubt it will look awesome once it's done. Good find on the bonnet! Always nice to have fresh metal

Cheers Rich, plans wise, after recent thoughts on selling it, I changed my mind so ordered myself some new coilovers for the front and I plan on swapping out all the bushes for polybushes to try and tighten it all up.
I also have a very annoying squeak from the rear end that I trying to narrow down and fix.
How is yours going?

Some new bits for the GSi to tighten up the front end a bit.
Big thanks to Rich (P1CK4D) for sorting the coilovers
Plan is to get the arms and ARB off and get them powder coated while i'm on on holiday in June then i'll build it back up with the new bits when i'm back.
