Bit more bumper work today...

Cut the corners out:

Filled them in:

Played with a helecopter for a bit while the filler dried

Filled it all out nice:

Checked it looked good on the car:

Then skimmed it all over to start getting it nice

Tom fed a horse some grass too...

The bumper needs some more filler and some Dolphin Glaze to get it nice, should be able to do that next weekend

Definatly got some good lines going on. I was a bit worried about cutting all these bits off of it this morning as I didn't know where to start...

One disadvantage of having a bumper made out of three bumpers is it is about as heavy as a bumper will ever get!

Gonna be used on dry days and for shows and stuff. Gonna take it to Europe to a few shows over there too and to test out the XE power The weight problem really mounts down to being about to get the bumper to fit onto the car and not fall off, that's all

Not yet, after getting this together today Tom and I had a look at the current front bumper and decided we couldn't do anything to it to change it. So I will concentrate on getting the fit perfect. Then if Tom see's any more random stuff in the bin at work that's good, I might just be able to make another creation out of them

I'm thikning that I should get 2x 2.5" straight through Japseye style cans for the back in black carbon, then get the chrome all painted up black to get rid of the shiney crap Having difficulty finding 'small' ones at the moment because they all seem to come in sizes of 4"+ which is far, far, far too big!

I think that 4" will be too big for the holes though, they would look a bit too big and OTT with two of them too. I will do some card mock ups and see what's going to look the best. Might end up just making a back box for it....

The front bumper is a 'Hyper' bumper. Bought it without looking at it Though I really like the front end of my Corsa
