Nice bonnet, where from and how much?
Love this thread

Not intending to sell it mate, and if I do i'll just break it for parts and sell everything off seperately

Bonnet came with the car when I got it so im not sure how much it was sorry.

Cheers for the comments guys.

UPDATE:

17th Febuary 2008

Didn't do any work on the van or mine today. Just fitted my old Calibra wheels to a mates Cooper S on a temporally basis till he gets some new tyres. Turns out they looked rather good so I took some pics

Before

After

And another mate of mine has recently purchased a 106 Rallye. I've Only got a few pics of this so far but he has some major mods planned (Track orientated) so watch out for further updates on this.

As he brought it

New decals

New Seats

lots more to follow....

Not sure where the 106 came from... will find out.

Wheels on the Mini (white 18's) will be forsale very soon if anyones interested? Will be cheap as well because they could do with a refurb (lots of minor scraps on them).

Cheers

UPDATE:

1st March 2008

Ok lots of work done today, starting with Coilover fitting

Whoops a little too low

Thats better, although the back was too high so I just trial fitted some 90mm rear springs

Next Paul set about removing the rear windows (you have to cut the sealant to get them out)

And bingo

Not much glass left now

Andy removed the rear lights

Whilst Paul tidied up the left over sealant

Then Paul started removing some of the brakets in the back with a spotweld drill

And we bumped into Smokey

Me and Andy cut the inner door out (complete with Electric window motor+mechanism and removed the glass)

And how we left it

Next we moved on to Pauls Corsa, Its currently on Spax Coilovers and 70mm rear springs

But more lowness was required so the 70mm's were swopped with 90mm's

I collected my Octavia 17's yesterday so we thought it would be rude not to give them a trial fit on the Fabia even if it was dirty. lol

But for the time being they have been removed, and will go back on when I get some coilovers (wont be for a month or so at least)

You goin for perspex windows neil?

Fabias lookin lovely with the new wheels on, did you find out what colour they were?

As for your mates corsa, looks so much better with the 90mm on, i often wonder if mine was lowered more then 90mm cos this is how mine sat with 90mm on with the same wheels

compared to

Ps, i want another corsa again

Hi John,

Yes I am having Perpex windows and a Fibreglass bootlid.

My friends Silver Corsa (Paul) has modelled his car on yours, and was a bit gutted when the 90's didn't make it as low as yours Im sure it might settle a bit more but yours seems a fair bit lower.

Sorry totally forgot to ask what the colour of the wheels are I will do so when I see the guy how had them done later this week.

Cheers for your comments

Today's work consisted of working on my friends 2.1 Corsa....

He has had a problem with the gearbox mount shearing the bolts that hold it to the gearbox So he has invested in a 3 bolt mount kit as opposed to the cheaper 2 bolt kit the car is currently running.

Old 2 bolt setup

Old spacer plate with 2 bolts and the new 3 bolt setup

A bit of grinding is required to make it fit

And in place

Jobs a goodun

Although earlier on in the day, Corsa's owner Werzul Gummage (James) had a bit of a disagreement with a baby mouse.

The interior will be bare apart from a dashboard, seats, cage and some carbon doorcards

Chris Astley Motorsport supplies the mount kit for £18
